Core Curriculum for Professional Code Administration

Offered to local jurisdictions, states and countries, this core, or "boot camp" curriculum of basic code administration focuses on management issues as well as regulatory issues. Each topic is designed to be presented as an independent module or as part of a larger training program.

The founders of the Academy believe that a good foundation in code administration begins with sound technical code training. Linking our clients to the best technical training available assures continued professional development and reinforces the Academy commitment to Excellence in Education.

Our resource center links our clients to existing technical training, education, or certification programs are best suited to meet their needs.

 

 

Special Training Modules for Administrators of State/Federal Programs

Modules cover specific federal regulations enforced at the state and local level. Programs currently available include Federal Manufactured Construction and Safety Standards and the inspection of modular and manufactured construction to state installation standards.

Certification for manufactured housing installers will be offered in the near future.

 

 

Streamlining the Building Regulatory Process

The Academy provides facilitation services to assist jurisdictions in streamlining their building regulatory processes. The work sessions engage the stakeholders in developing a consensus for change.

Academy staff members provide direct support to our international clients in the redesign of their building regulatory systems.
